  : The atmosphere in the bars was buzzing each night we stayed but the rooms were quiet clean and comfortable.

  : Central location and car parking nearby. The Royal is a lovely town centre pub and hotel. Full of locals but also very welcoming to guests. Rooms were lovely and good size with modern bathrooms. Immaculately clean and comfortable with tea coffee & water. Great value for money.
  : Cant fault it in any way.

  : Close to station and amenities in town centre but also close to beach. Inside was quirky and interesting downstairs. Upstairs was very tastefully furnished in style fitting the age of the property with up to date essentials.
  : No lift but only two flights to go up to our room.

  : Breakfast was excellent, unfortunately I missed half because of early train schedules. Room was large, comfy with a large screen tv. Bathroom was modern which was great. Also it was right beside the train station and the beach was less than 5 minutes walk away.
  : Only problem for me was the room was way up. 65 steps and stairs to get there. I am 79 so did not enjoy the trip up and down .

  : Great location for local amenities. A very friendly welcome. Weve stayed here before and requested the same room (no. 1), which were given.A lovely well appointed room, clean spacious and a very comfortable bed. Good bathroom with excellent shower.An excellent breakfast, lots of choice which you choose the night before.The pub has a great atmosphere, some good well kept cask ales on. A good choice on the evening menu. Its best to reserve a table.On Friday and Saturday nights they sometimes have live music, which adds to the already great atmosphere. If youre a light sleeper you might like to take ear plugs.We were on the first floor and the sound wasnt disturbing
  : Nothing, everything was great. If in Barmouth again we would definitely stay here.

  : Great location, staff very friendly, local parking (small fee) and meals excellent (both evening meal and breakfasts).
  : We knew we had booked a standard room but it was smaller than we expected with the double bed against the wall. However the room did have absolutely everything we needed and there were no noise issues.
