Bandon Home with Patio Steps to South Jetty Park

  : Excellent location within a stones throw of Bandons South Jetty Park and miles of extraordinarily beautiful beach walking; minutes from old town Bandon for dining, shopping, etc.. Five bedrooms & 3 baths provided ample accommodation for 2 couples; the second floor solarium was a treat on chilly days and the living areas were comfortable. Lots of electronic entertainment options that we barely found time to try. Game room with shuffleboard table was a nice amenity that we also didnt take advantage of.
  : Some details that would have raised the rating from good to excellent were missing: several of the window blinds were broken (we were informed that replacements are planned), the tub mats should have been replaced long ago, some faucets in bathroom sink & shower were very hard to adjust, and the baseboard heating was a bit of a challenge with some knobs missing. The kitchen equipment was acceptable (with some exceptions): good quality utensils, pots & pans, but nothing big enough to boil pasta except for the 5-gallon crab pot, no measuring cup or measuring spoons that we could find, main burner on the stove didnt seem to heat and the oven control was decidedly dicey (still, we managed to prepare our meals without undue frustration).   : They werent done cleaning it till after 9 pm check in was supposed to be at 4 and wanted us out by ten they day we were to leave we needed extra1/2 hour Cassondra stayed she would be charging us 100 dollars extra for that 1/2 hour even though we couldnt check in till almost 9 pm the day we arrived when we should have been able to check in at 4pm. Beautiful place little overpriced for having to deal with impatient pushy cleaning people.

  : This home was like a clown car. The more we explored, the more rooms we found! That was fun. Also, the home is located just steps away from the beach and either a short walk or a shorter drive from the quaint downtown shops. Using the fireplace really chased away the evening chill and created a wonderful ambiance.
