  : The restaurant was amazing and the hotel decor was beautiful in the common areas. The staff was kind and courteous but obviously not very good at running a hotel.
  : They gave our room away even though I had two seperate emails comfirming our stay (one via booking.com and one from the hotel itself). This reservation was made a month in advance and prepaid as well so there is literally no excuse as to why they did this. They claimed they would fix it and give us an upgrade but just put us in what was clearly someone's very basic studio apartment (it would have been 1/4 of the cost to book something similar to this apartment). The beds were extremely uncomfortable and they didn't offer toiletries or pillows or any extra blankets to make the situation better. We had to walk down and get them ourselves. They also did not offer to comp any part of our dinner or do anything at all to make up for the MASSIVE mistake THEY made by giving our room away (aside from give us 1 drink wach while we waited as they scrambled to figure out what happened.) We even asked for bottled water and they told us we would have to purchase it ourselves. We also woke up covered in bug bites. I could never in good faith reccommend this hotel to anyone. The restaurant is very good and worth the visit but the hotel itself is obviously not run well and they do not care even slightly about making their guests comfortable when they make a huge mistake. Obviously we would have stayed elsewhere ourselves but the entire town was booked out for the evening (like I said we booked this a month in advance and expected to have a room that we PAID for). They also didn't refund any part of our booking fee even though the room was clearly much worse than what we paid for.

  : My room was a super cute small double room. The bathroom was nice (not super clean) with a Jacuzzi bathtub but I haven't used it. The room was very quiet with Mountain View, just to the wrong side ;-). Realised in the morning that you can see the Matterhorn from the terrace - other side from my room view. Breakfast was very nice - everyone can find something. Location is nearby the station.
  : I found some hairs in the bathroom but I haven't mentioned it at the reception. And for me the bed was too soft.

  : Close to the train station and shopping area. The room had a tea/coffee making facility, and sockets (but no USB) for adapter/charger/travel immersion heater. A decent view, from the balcony, if fine weather.
  : The wallpaper was pink-black, furniture dark and cheap - admittedly a matter of taste, but not to mine. Shower was over a bath, somewhat narrow. Fire exit on balcony appeared blocked. Breakfast was okay, but jam was thin. Staff performed their functions, but not really cheerily.
