  : It has a pleasant location (albeit further than I thought from the Old Town - minimum 45-minute walk!), comfy beds, a useful kitchen facility, a nice terrace and good air conditioning. It is an excellent place if you want to be outside of the hustle and bustle of the Old Town and very near to the ferry, which is good for checking out the islands (I'd definitely recommend this, by the way!). I also found this hostel very social. Met lots of young travellers here and had some great chats and experiences with them. For that reason alone, I'd recommend it.
  : There was a turd that had blocked the male toilets when I arrived. I told a guy in reception about this, and they still took over 24 hours to clear it. Most of the staff can't really hold a conversation in English, which did make some situations difficult. For example, on arrival, a staff member just handed me the keys, pointed to a bed and said, "That's yours". No instructions were given on accessing the Wi-Fi, the facilities available, the hostel rules, local amenities, where the men's shower was and when to check out, etc... I think this basically came down to him not having a high enough level of English to really articulate these points. It's a shame as he was very helpful at times but most visitors, I imagine, don't speak Croatian, so I think some improvement is needed here for staff that struggle!
