  : Good location, close to the centre and the station and right on the river. Bed was comfortable and I had everything I needed. Generally clean. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was fine.
  : I chose a ‘cosy’ room. It was ideal for one person but would probably be pretty tight for two. The duvet was only just the size of the mattress top, with none hanging over the side like you’d usually have, so would cause arguments with two people, I think! Room was a bit tired (lots of chipped paint). The room was fine but the bathroom was just too small. You could barely turn around in the shower and trying to shave your legs in there was impossible. Shower curtain seemed clean but don’t expect a shower curtain in a nice hotel in the 21st century. No one likes a shower curtain touching them while they’re showering. Not enough room in bathroom to dry off after showering. I’m petite and 5’5” for reference.
