  : The property is a basement flat overlooked from the busy street and other buildings across the street. It was very dark and there was an odour of mould / mustiness. We saw evidence of damp and rot to confirm this. The internet tv was poor, spooling and dropping the connection. The sofa was NOT comfortable. The bathrooms had no shelves or area to lay out toiletries. Dust on the skirting boards and electrical sockets. Overall the property is tired

  : The apartment is in a great location, just 5 minutes walk to York Minster, with a Tesco store a few doors down. It is nicely decorated, although damp is evident and it was more than big enough for 3 adults, with the added bonus of 2 shower rooms. The bed was comfortable, however, unfortunately the bed settee was not.
  : On arrival, without going into detail, both toilets and showers clearly had not been cleaned. Thinking this was an oversight, we called the letting agency, not to complain but to make them aware, so it does not happen again. They asked if we wanted a cleaner to return. Not wanting to have to stay in waiting or for us to go out and someone come in, with our personal belongings in the apartment, we declined this offer, instead we went to Tesco and bought cleaning items. Looking at the reviews later, this is obviously not a one-off. Also, at night, the sofa-bed had to be made up, the duvet is disgusting and needs to be replaced, there is blood on it!Unfortunately, for these reasons, I will not return or recommend to anyone. Such a shame that these issues let it down, as it is a lovely apartment, in a great location.

  : Amazing location, really close to all major attractions. Bed was comfortable had everything we needed. The welcome booklet had loads of useful and interesting information about York too.
  : Check in was 3pm so that it could be cleaned prior to the stay but it was apparent that the cleaner had just done a quick once over. There were stains in the toilet, black mould in both showers, thick dust on radiators, broken blinds in the bedroom (making it very dark), dust and cobwebs around the front and back doors and some of the dishes had to be washed before use. It was also really noisy due to neighbours and street noise. A shame as if properly maintained it could be great!

  : Location was right next to the entrance to the castle walls a stones throw from the York Minster and all the shops and eateries.
  : If been picky the Apartment could have been a little cleaner on arrival. Parking cost was high but you are in the centre of York.

  : The location was very good to be able to get into the city centre. Also parking at the rear of the property.
  : I felt as though whoever had cleaned the property prior to arrival hadnt done a thorough job as there were still areas which hadnt been cleaned. Receipts from previous guests still on the sides. Also the wifi was not working, had to reset. Spoke to a lady on the phone regarding the property and she said she hasnt dealt with this property before so was unable to really help. It did come to my attention that the wifi password sent on the email is different to the one in the handbook at the property.
