: We enjoyed the location, the privacy and the easy access to a great sandy beach. The bedrooms are adequate and beds are comfortable, kitchen is large and outfitted adequately. There is a fire pit and large picnic table on the front lawn. This made feeding groups easy. The wood interior is warm and cozy and the furniture is durable, comfortable and not fussy. It is a house where families with children and dogs can relax.
: The word to remember when renting this house, is rustic. It is a 65 year old vacation cabin. If the house were mine, I would change the upstairs bedroom windows to larger sizes that open. The upstairs gets very hot when it is sunny, even when shades are down and the door is left open. Some box fans would help. A sturdy screen door would be good. Another inexpensive upgrade, would be an outside hose to wash off sandy feet. There is only one bathroom. The house has great charm, but is not fancy.

: Nice to have the firepit in the front yard. We made s'mores!
