  : The location is perfect for a very relaxed beach holiday in a quiet location. There is very little touristic development around and you can walk straight out onto a sandy beach which slopes gently into the water offering perfect swimming when it's not too windy. The kitchen facility is sufficient to make yourself a simple breakfast to enjoy on the balcony. For tavernas you need to go to Xerocampos village (where the 1st taverna on the main inland street has a bigger range of dishes than the ones at the seafront). Top tip: bring a flashlight so that you can walk there and back safely at night - that way you can enjoy the complimentary raki at the end of every meal!). On a clear night, if you look in the right direction, the skies are spectacular. With a car there are some interesting places to drive to, along switchback roads through wild rugged scenery.
  : The room might be too small for some people if they have a lot of luggage, but was fine for us. Sadly, one new touristic property the other end of the beach emanates an inconsiderate and unnecessary quantity of light pollution at night. It may be worth the other property owners getting together and requesting that the lights there are dimmed or switched off late at night, saving some energy bills and making the night-time stargazing a whole lot better.

  : Quiet place in a stunning landscape, a few steps from a endless sandy beach. The loudest noice came from crickets and sea waves. Sunbeds and umbrellas for free. Mini market 10 min on foot away. Tons of other sandy coves, 2 restaurants (with chairs and umbrellas for free) half an hour (on hiking trails) away. Other shops and restaurants in the settlement above (along the road to Zakros). Very friendly owners.

  : Amazing view from shaded decks. Outdoor showers. Plenty of parking. Great proximity - across the road - to a lovely white sandy beach with excellent swimming, clear water and turtle nest. Very peaceful and quiet location.
  : Bed was hard. Shower was a bit small.
