  : Good value for money and perfect for a short stay. Close to Blenheim Palace and Cogges Manor Farm. Within easy reach of the Cotswolds.Courteous staff. The room and bed linen were clean and fresh towels were provided. Tea, coffee and water were provided in the room for no additional cost. Plenty of plug sockets.Our evening meal in the hotel restaurant was lovely but obviously you have to like the type of food on offer.Breakfast was cereal and juice and a choice of cooked food, which was absolutely fine.
  : The hotel is very close to the road and now there's so much traffic passing by there is traffic noise despite double glazing having been fitted over the original windows in our room, but we took the view that we were staying at the hotel as a good base to get to see the area rather than as a rest and relaxation hotel where traffic noise would have been an issue.The building is several hundred years old so naturally it’s a bit worn in places. However the carpets, paintwork and fittings are showing a lot of wear and could probably do with some attention.Personally I would suggest a less is more approach to the decor and furnishings which might help to smarten the hotel's interior a bit. Perhaps get rid of the unhygienic shaggy bath mat, some of the unnecessary rugs and a few of the pictures and fake plants.

  : The bath didn’t have a proper shower, just a mixer tap with no shower head holder or screen. The roof leaked in the bathroom.

  : Nice little hotel, really friendly reception, restaurant was lovely.
  : Could have had more towels in the room and extra bathroom shower gel, shampoo etc as we were a couple staying. Not much parking so we had a 10 min walk from the carpark, would suggest reserving for guests only. Also red light from smoke alarm wad flashing all night.
