  : Breakfast was great. Lots of dogs around - great. Great location near lots of shops.
  : The room was dark and dated - not much light and hard to open and close the windows. The bathroom had no hot water so I had to have a very cold shower before the wedding. When I told the staff member upon leaving (not that she asked how my stay was) she said I’ll have to check that. I didn’t get an apology (not even an insincere one). Very disappointed.

  : Fantastic location, breakfast was good and the room was spacious but not suitable for anyone with mobility issues! Staff were very accommodating. Housekeeping refreshed the room and have to say the towels were the best we’ve ever had!!!
  : Had problems with the shower, no water pressure! Unable to get food in the evening but the issue was explained by the staff!

  : The location in the middle of Burford is good with access to all local shops, pubs etc
  : The room we stayed in had a four poster bed, although it was literally the frame of a four poster and not the drapes on it that you would expect. The bathroom was in need of attention. The tongue and grooved wooden bath panel was badly water damaged with much paint missing making it very scruffy as well as the panels behind the sinks. The bath plug was attached to the chain but not attached to the bath and there was a lot of limescale present around the bath taps. There was a Jack and Jill sink set up but only one plug which wasn't attached to a chain. The bedroom itself had some of the ceiling spotlight bulbs blown. There were also no bedside lamps / lights so lighting was very poor. No water glasses were provided which we had to request at the bar. Carpets leading up the stairs and landing to our room were stained and worn.No evening meals were available during our stay and we were advised we would have to go to the sister pub 'The Mermaid' across the road as they were sharing a chef! We decided to eat elsewhere and would highly recommend the Royal Oak, a side street away. Because of this sharing of a chef, consequently guests from the other pub needed to come to our hotel for their breakfasts. The breakfast itself was very greasy and we would say used very poor quality / cheap ingredients. The two staff on duty in the morning were just about coping, but at times confusion reigned as that was coming out and who had ordered what when listening to other table guests.

  : Good Location , free parking available on the street overnight.
  : The hotel is a little tired looking and needs some tidying in places, the bar closes at 10 pm.no evening dining due to staff issues, poor breakfast service also due to staff issues.
