  : Location along the river is incredible with a high walking score to the restaurants and shopping. Well equipped cabin and the hot tub was a bonus. Bed comfortable and ample linens. Check in after office hours is simple and convenient.
  : Drains in the washroom sinks and tubs are all slow; looks like they need maintenance. The shower head in the upstairs bathroom had a crack in the thread and blew off with pressure.

  : Loved the location so close to town and right on the river. The house itself was very pleasant but sadly not well maintained.
  : The fireplace did not work, despite much appreciated efforts by the friendly and helpful property manager who tried to get it going. We decided to forfeit the fire and let the property manager enjoy her evening (it was close to front desk closing time) After a very pleasant soak in the hot tub, I went to the upstairs shower to rinse off, only to have the shower head fly off. It looked like the plastic attachment was broken and someone simply placed it back on without repairing it? The next morning we were looking forward to making a cup of coffee, however, the coffee can did not fit the machine, so we had to hold it up against the percolator basket manually in order to get the coffee out! I suspect the coffee pot was replaced by someone, who had not considered the right sizing? See image. The town of Winthrop was cute, but very busy and touristy, even off-season! Be prepared for long wait times at restaurants. Cabin 16

  : Fantastic location, very quiet, wish the hot tub had more privacy as it faced a parking lot. Cute cabin, friendly host, bed was okay, good pillows. Would choose riverfront next time.

  : Close to town, nice hot tub. Pleasant staff. Deck was right off the river.
  : No blackout curtains in bedrooms, in fact in loft bedroom no curtains at all. Staff would come on our deck and not knock first, and zero curtains on back - so we could have been changing to go into hot tub. Would have appreciated more privacy.

  : Our cabin wasn't next to the river but had a beautiful creek just off the balcony
  : Hot tub had way too much chlorine. I'd recommend opening up and removing floating dispensers an hour before getting in. I could barely breath.

  : We stay here every year for our annual trip around the Cascade Loop. This is one that we especially look forward to every year. We love having our own private hot tub with plenty of towels. The views from our private deck are wonderful and we have seen all kinds of wildlife, from marmots to wood ducks. We will always come back for the comfort, friendly staff, and convenient location. During our most recent stay, there was a mix-up that resulted in a very confused traveler on our porch. The staff was very thorough in resolving the issue. We were impressed with how it was handled and appreciate how the staff owned up to a mistake, calling in the morning to apologize and make sure everything ended up alright. That kind of customer service is rare these days.
  : The coffee is a little stale, but delicious espresso is available nearby. Also, the "conditioning" shampoo isn't very good at detangling. Bring your own conditioner if you plan on getting your hair wet in the hot tub.
