  : The beds were bad, far to soft. Bad that there is no menu in other languages, but only on your phone, which is very small to read. this was even not inform by the service, first when we asked them, they told us.

  : The breakfast was great - lots of choice with a hot & cold selection & nice fresh fruit (not sure if non-dairy options were available as we didn't ask about them, but it might be helpful to flag if they are available from the kitchen). The selection was also regularly replenished - a big tray of freshly baked croissants was delivered even towards the end of the breakfast serving. The dining/ breakfast & bar areas were nicely decorated with comfy seating & cushions & the fireplace area was particularly appreciated. The pool & bowling alley looked nice although we didn't get around to using them. Finally, the hotel surroundings are lovely for beautiful walks.
  : The main issue with the hotel was the temperature. In numerous reviews I'd seen problems flagged about over overheating in summer as there were no thermostats in the rooms & no airco, but I didn't think this would be an issue in December. I was WRONG. The hotel generally seems to be very badly insulated - external walls were cold to touch & windows very drafty. When we went for a drink downstairs, staff recommended we sit in specific areas as others were too cold. We were also very surprised at how cold our room was on arrival (mid-afternoon) with temperatures close to freezing outside. We soon realized that there was no thermostat in the room & the radiator was off. Although we turned it on & later closed the curtains to block the drafts (not so helpful since the radiator was behind the curtain), the temperature was not at all comfortable. We avoided the room as much as possible.

  : Spacious room & bathroom, comfortable bed. Fresh, modern decor. Good value for the location.
  : A really cold draft from the window, the curtains did help block this but the curtains then blocked all the heat from the radiator.
