  : The apartment was very clean, Easy to open the door (with a keycode) so need to be dependent on the host for key checkin or checkout. Also very near to Winterberg and all the outdoor activities.
  : In general, the host was very responsive and timely to emails (within 1 workday), however at the end when requesting one extra night stay two days ahead (including chasing them by phone), it was not untill the morning lastminute when the host replied.

  : Booking process & Initial check in: -The Smart Resort team were very effecient in handling the booking. They kept me informed and replied to any question I had withing a few hours. -The apartment has ample parking and it was easy to find and park my car. -Getting in and out of the property was really simple. There are no keys - just a pin code which is given to you the day before you get to the resort. The Apartment: -The apartment is very modern and very clean - it is easy to see that the entire house was refurbished recently. -The rooms are spacious and importantly very warm. -Wifi was free and very fast. Location and Amenities: -The location is 5kms out of the main Winterberg city centre and about 3kms to the nearest ski slopes. -There are a few restaurants within walking distance from the apartment but I would recommend for more varierty to head over the the main town. -The bonus for us was the proximity to the forests and many hiking paths that were on our doorstep.
  : In general the apartment exceeded our expectation however there are a few minor points to consider: -Due to the fact that you have one apartment in a house of 4 studios it can get quite noisy. We were unlucky enough to have a group that were listning to music quite loudly till 5:30am for two nights of our 4 night stay. -The pillows supplied were not comfortable at all and vert flimsy.
