  : This was such a beautiful house that was perfect for our group to go skiing in Winterburg! The house was about a 5 minute drive to the ski lift! It was HUGE! We had 4 people, but this house could hold 8 people comfortably! There was so much space for all of us, and it was beautifully decorated! The kitchen had everything we needed to cook! The floors were also heated! That was a huge plus! The landscape outside was absolutely beautiful, especially because we had some fresh snow the night we got there! We did not take the bus, but they had bus passes for us if we had needed! We drove to the ski lift, but I am guessing you could have taken this bus! Everything about the house was identical to the pictures, if not better! We arrived a bit late, so we were able to retrieve our keys from a lock box about a 5 minute drive from the house! Very easy! They had sent us the wrong code via booking, but the host answered right away and we were able to resolve this very quickly! Not a big deal at all! We loved our stay, and we hope to come back again soon!
  : The only negative that was not displayed on booking was that you HAD to pay via bank transfer to the owner directly. I do not like this, and I did not feel comfortable without having booking as a middle man. **We recently got scammed by a property ON BOOKING.COM that we had to pay via bank transfer. **. We asked the property if there was a way to pay by credit card through booking, and they said bank transfer was the only way. This also made for an extra fee due to paying from an American bank account into a German one, that I had to cover. This was not displayed up front on the booking. This would have been good to know ahead of time, and in all honesty, I would not have booked it if I had known. This property was NOT a scam, luckily, but if there was a different way to pay I would have given this property a 10/10.
