  : There are a lot of people that stay here for work and have weekly rates. We checked in late and the staff was friendly we were told there is no daily housekeeping and that if we put our towels and trash out side our room every morning they would take care of it and give us clean towels. At check in we realized that our floor was absolutely disgusting but decided to wait till in the morning to have it mopped as it was late. The next morning we spoke with housekeeping put our trash and towels out and asked if they would mop our floors The lady poked her head in and said yes they needed mopped and that she would take care of it. We left for the day and upon our return realized that we had no trash bags no towels and our floor was still awful. I went down to the front desk and they were short-staffed and had the maintenance man working so he was unable to help. The next morning I spoke with the cleaning lady she helped us with towels and she did mop our floor. I even showed her how black my feet were from just getting out of bed and walking to the bathroom. The bed was incredibly hard and on a metal platform so it had no give. The pillows were awful and when we asked for an extra pillow or a new pillow there were none to be had. Finally this week cleaning lady did go and find us a new pillow. My husband did not sleep well the entire trip because the bed was that miserable. We requested a handicap room due to the fact that we traveled with a wheelchair and we were told we would have a handicap shower. The bathroom was a standard bathroom with a shower chair. The hallways smelled of marijuana. They advertise a hot Continental breakfast, that is not accurate they do have waffles. The ice machine did not work nor did the vending machines. We would not recommend staying here again. We felt like the advertisement and the things we were told were misleading had we known inaccuracy we would have been better prepared and brought stuff from home.

  : Great location to stop at overnight on the way to the Outer Banks. The staff were very nice and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable.
