: The rooms probably not renovated for 30+ years, old equipment and furniture. The staff probably do their best to keep it clean, but cannot do miracle with old carpets and cracked walls.

: The hotel proprietors and staff were friendly and welcoming. The accommodation is simple but clean and spacious with good sized balconies. The bedding and mattress were good. The buffet breakfast has a good variety of good quality food and drinks. We opted to have half-board and the choice of two main courses changed daily and were appetising and consistently good. Our requests to add Wiener Schnitzels to the choice on one occasion was happily granted. The hotel has an excellent location very near to the Schatzbergbahn ski lift, three cafe bar restaurants and a number of other hotel restaurants.
: Other than shower gel, there was little provision of additional toiletries although a small bar of hand soap was provided in request. The towels, albeit clean and readily changed daily, were a bit past their best. We would have like some drinking glasses available in the room - the hotel will provide these on request. It might have been helpful to provide tea/coffee making facilities.

: Theres a lot to like: the accommodation is close to the Schatzbergbahn, which you can use for free with the tourist card that you receive when checking in. Personnel is friendly, the restaurant has good food and we had a large room.
: Bed was a bit on the hard side (but thats also personal preference).
