YHA Wasdale Hall

With a spectacular location in Cumbria and grounds that stretch down to the shores of Wastwater the deepest lake in England YHA Wasdale Hall offers free parking on site. The half-timbered building is a National Trust property and dates back to 1829. Formerly known as YHA Wastwater’s this hostel offers a wood-panelled restaurant with lake views serving local ales.

Guests can also enjoy a game of snooker in the games room with its original brick walls. Scafell Pike is less than 4 miles from YHA Wasdale Hall and St Olaf’s church is also within easy reach. You can go climbing walking and cycling in the surrounding area.

Dormitory-style rooms are available and each has a shared bathroom. Towels can be hired at reception.
