  : The golf facilities were great, you could see the daily effort put in by the whole team to keep the grass and landscapes looking perfect. The hotel gym has great equipment all in good working order and plenty of options such as rowing machines, step master and such. The swimming pool was a nice size with a sauna and steam room close by. Great location being situated close to Whitchurch so shops were never too far away.
  : Broken furniture in room one chair and one lamp with horrible stains on the second chair in the room. The bathroom had washable stains in the bath, shower trim and shower glass also around the taps on the sink. The bar lounge had broken, worn and dated furniture with a ceiling air-conditioning unit dripping with dust and probably very old skin. The price of drinks and food at the bar also the restaurant were just beyond a joke after seeing the surroundings. Saying the venue is dated is very kind to it. Dining tables had broken edges with exposed wood in places, not really hygienic or nice to look at. It's very sad because the staff were all very helpful, friendly and delightful to interact with. The gym was very small in size so difficult to use when five people are in. The sauna is very small again after four people are using it. The steam room was set at a dangerous high temperature. I watched many people try to sit in it but couldn't, I myself struggled to leave it at one point as it was so hot but felt hotter when you moved inside!

  : Lovely room and view, bed was very comfortable and liked having a bath and separate shower. Pool was great and glad children were welcomed.
  : Would have benefited from breakfast remaining available longer. It ended at 9:30, but even when we went down at 9 the majority of fruit and pastries had gone. Would liked breakfast to have been available later, maybe until 10:30 which would have been nice after a late night at a wedding the day before.Our room also didn’t have a fridge when friends rooms on the same floor did (not helpful when needing to chill baby bottles) so had to request ice several times

  : There was nothing to like. I have travelled to hundreds of Hotels and even the worst ones I have stayed at, I can normally find something I liked. This Hotel failed on every single level
  : The whole Hotel needs a huge refresh. The rooms are definitely showing their age, the beds if you can call them beds have springs sticking in your back. The rooms smell stale. No Aircone, mould in the bathroom. Showers were not hot enough. No where to charge an electric car. The breakfast was so disgusting I would not feed the food to a Pig. And all this for over £300 a night. They are having a laugh.

  : Room was spacious. Reception were helpful.
  : Bed was hard and could feel springs which moved each time I did. Breakfast was abysmal - went at 9.15 and virtually nothing left. Little or no pastries, little or no hot food, no fried eggs, hardly any beans, one slice of bacon, no marmalade. Table not laid properly, no butter. No fresh fruit apart from watermelon. And all for £18 each. Appalling. Room was not ‘serviced’ - towels were changed. Bed not made. Only two available electric sockets. Room tired, not dirty but not fresh. No-one at reception could help with local directions. Safe was locked closed on arrival so hadn’t been checked. We were woken each night by noisy guests in the corridor despite having do not disturb sign out - this was between midnight and 1am each night. All in all an expensive stay, with ridiculously expensive and very inadequate catering and uncomfortable bed.

  : Inflexible receptionist as we arrived. Room tired and in need of cracks being filled on the walls and bathroom. Redecoration through out. Unfortunately milk cartons were not replenished. Old ones remained in the tub from previous guests. This stopped us wanting to take the opportunity to have a coffee in the morning.
