  : Beautiful hotel, very large but maintained a boutique feel. Good size rooms incl iron and board, a fan, fresh water and tea,coffee and hot chocolate facilities. Find in restaurant was all fresh and local and beautiful if a little too plentiful. Breakfast was fabulous but feel an extra egg, sausage or bacon would be nice especially as price is 16 for non residents. There is plenty of continental choice but as I didnt like any of those 1 or 2 extra Breakfast items would be great to help set you up for the day. Bottle of prosecco on arrival for my birthday was a lovely touch and a dessert with a candle the following evening and waiting staff sang happy birthday to me, so very attentive.
  : Unfortunately, our 1st night was almost sleepless due to some very very inconsiderate and disrespectful guests in the room next to us, they were part of a larger group and spread around the hotel, I wanted to knock their door but as they had been drinking a lot in the bar earlier my husband advised me not to. So I woke up extremely tired on my birthday and feeling somewhat annoyed that they were allowed to.continue their awful behaviour till gone 4am, incl a child screaming, banging, shouting, slamming doors but not actually leaving the room, due to size of hotel reception probably had no idea what was.going on because I'm sure they wpuld habe dealt with them. I looked for them at breakfast to be told they had already checked out.

  : The property is in a lovely location. The restaurant is situated at the side off the bar and is quiet unfortunately for us dogs were in there whilst we were eating. The stairwell is very tired and needs to be cleaned and redecorated especially if this is the star rating it claims. Our bedrooms were good in the equipment that was there. But it was dirty we even spoke to staff who then went to look and said she had cleaned it again which I doubt in the 5 minutes she was away for, and it was not much better.
  : The bedrooms had not been cleaned and one of our en-suites was not very clean at all we complained and the staff member said she would go and check came back 5mins later to say she had cleaned it again but it was not any cleaner yuck . The bedside tables pictures and headboards were dusty able to write name in the bedside table dust.

  : Very clean , lovely big executive room. Lovely touch of a bottle of Prosecco on arrival too as it was our anniversary. Excellent food and choice was amazing.
  : Very cold in the main bar area. Bar menu offered cocktails but when requested they didnt have the ingredients to make them. This was very disappointing for a cocktail lover!

  : Tv in bathroom did not work. Hot tub lid broken in half. Flooring separated in garden making it dangerous. Shower head was broken away from the rail so you at to hold the shower you at to old it instead of it hanging on the rail. Also the out door sofa had a big rip in it. Not what you expect from a 5 star hotel
