  : Lovely house with nice views. Really appreciated the laundry facilities. Super comfortable living room area and bedrooms. Great location for getting out and about around Mt Hood area.
  : There were some mouse droppings on the countertop in the kitchen and we did spot a mouse in the evening, perhaps some traps required.

  : Kitchen stove didn’t work properly, pan cupboard could not be open without opening oven door. Lighting in whole place was dismal. Carpeting very stained.

  : We prepared our own meals. The condo was located only 15 minutes from Government camp. We did not have to go upstairs with our luggage since the condo was on street level surrounded by nice nature.
  : The stove in the kitchen did not work well. The stove burners were not marked and tended to overheat. There was no ventilation above the stove. There were two bathrooms, but no bathtub, only two showers. The carpet needs some cleaning in the living room area. Make sure to bring your own wood if you want to use the fireplace. When we turned on the barbeque, it caused the circuit breaker to go out. We had to contact VACASA to find out where the circuit breaker was. Afterwards we were afraid to use the barbecue and had to use the stove that was not working well.

  : It was a very comfortable and spacious room. It was just two of us, so way more space than necessary. We could have comfortably had 5 or 6. The kitchen and fridge were full size. The living room was very nice. I would love to leave this an unqualified positive and the two things we "didn't like" are relatively easy to fix, so please, strongly consider this location.
  : Two things were problematic. The first we noticed was one shower's ceiling was missing and plasticked over. I assume they're in the midst of repairs. I'm not sure how usable that shower was. As I say, it was just two of us, so we just used the other bathroom (which was the nicer, anyway). The second was on our final morning, we were greeted by a friendly mouse scurrying about the kitchen and one gnawed through my backpack for a granola bar I'd carried but not eaten on a hike. Mice can be a problem anywhere and as this is a fairly remote location with lots of people staying around, the mice could be due to neighbors, as the unit we were in was very clean when we arrived. I looked for a way to communicate this privately as I hate to leave it in a review because I know a lot of folks will freak out about it. But I couldn't find a way to do so and I do think both issues need to be addressed. Overall, we had a great stay.

  : 1) Misleading if not outright deceptive pricing2) Unclear or missing directions; the place was hard to find and it took an hour to get into, all without Vacasa's help. 3) Defective lighting & appliances4) Noise from upstairsElaboration1) Web and initial booking information showed one price, but the final price is almost doubled when the booking was finalized and was non-refundable. The property is quite spacious and warrants the price but Vacasa’s pricing mechanism is distasteful.2) Vacasa could have provided clear and adequate directions about the unit. The markings of the unit were misleading and difficult for a first time visitor. I spent an hour trying to locate the unit and getting in - there is no clear street marking at the turn in from E Welches Rd (Mt Hood Resort golfing facilities): the street sign did not appear until way past many other Resort facilities; the parking space is very clearly marked but right next to a storage which I mistook as the unit; the actual unit's marking is in an unlit and dark area behind a screen door up some stairs; I was not familiar with this particular lockbox etc. The staff I talked to were not familiar with this unit. The maintenance person who was supposed to get us in did not show up until after an hour; after some other visitors chanced to provide help. Vacasa should not expect first time visitors to know the peculiarities of the unit. The unit can use more lighting and the stove seemed defective and possibly dangerous.3) Very poor and inadequate lighting, Wifi functioned the first night but not the rest of the time. Stove was defective if not possibly dangerous. Bathroom vent cover missing and very noisy.4) Somewhat flimsy wood construction? Can hear noisy neighbor on the floor above.
