  : The bathroom was wide open, needed pull down blinds for privacy. The living room furniture is outdated.

  : Rustic and basic but clean. Resort fee of $30.per day, for only standard amenities such as a pool. No bfast or daily housekeeping.

  : I loved the location. It was very private and secluded. There was plenty of space between guests. Just steps away from the beach or pool if you prefer.
  : Would have liked some sort of gym, but that's nitpicking. Furniture could have been more comfortable.

  : For someone like me, such accommodation is just the thing! You have a hut all to yourself, without trampling neighbors in the next room or above you, it is clean and quiet. It is a very spacious, wonderfully green and well-kept hotel complex right by the sea. I also liked the bar, the food was delicious. Also an ideal starting point for trips to the state parks.
  : In view of the wonderful peace and quiet, insignificant little things: The kitchen could have been equipped with a few more things, such as salt and pepper, baking paper. I was also missing a kettle. The back door was stuck.

  : The location is stunning. On the beach, private, and in the sunniest part of Kauai during the winter
  : There was a wedding at the property the first night which kept everyone awake with loud music from 5pm to 11:30pm. It was truly horrible.

  : Beautifully manicured and maintained grounds. Quiet and tranquil environment. Good WiFi. Mini-split air con units were quiet and efficient. Ceiling fans were helpful. Good to have insect screens on all windows and doors. Efficient check-in. Great on-site food. Outdoor lighting kept low to the ground so insects and nightlife could thrive. We loved being right next to the town of Waimea within easy reach of the canyon and park.
  : The cottage (standard with garden view) was a mixed bag. On one hand it was charming. The kitchen very well equipped. The bed comfortable. However, it lacked a number of comforts that are expected at this price point. The sitting room furniture was bare and minimally equipped. DVD rental not working while we were there. Could have used a rug or something? Both the front porch and the back patio were disappointing. Front porch chairs were uncomfortable. And the so called "garden" patio had the trash can and recycling bin right outside the kitchen door. The back patio furniture was more comfortable, but was missing cushion on a chair, had no table, etc. No mosquito coils or other way of repelling them--an issue in the garden view cottages that do not enjoy the ocean breezes. I hope they will refresh the cottages. Seems they may have been resting on their laurels since there aren't a lot of options in the area?
