  : The host has tried to provide everything you needed for a great stay, and she had done an exceptional job of it. The rooms had basic facilities, but there was a proper kitchen next door to cook in with everything you needed. Plus disabled bathroom facilities. The campsite was in a great location. Very quite and peaceful place. Scenery was great.
  : The only things that I could fault was there were no big dinner plates, and proper signage. The name at the entrance to the campsite was different to what was advertised. This was the name of the farm on the land. So we were unsure if we were at the right place. Finding the reception was a problem. No signs to tell you where to go or what to do when you arrived. I had to ask several people before I found the host. Information about gravel roads nearby would have been useful. We ended up on them, and had to turn around as we were not allowed to drive on them with our hire car.

  : Stunning location, a perfect place to watch the northern lights. You can make a late check-in. A mini kitchen with a fridge. A great value for money on east Iceland. Staff are extremely nice.
  : A bit too small, a bit hard to find at night, not the best bed.

  : Some basic food staples would have been nice. Also, we tried the nearby restaurants and they both said they needed much more advance notice and turned us away. We ended up driving 20 km to a restaurant. Since the location is so isolated, it would be useful to include some guidance about where to eat and how to plan ahead.

  : Nice little cabin with the nicest toilet I have had in a cabin. It was quite new n had a modern shower. It was very spacious, with a vanity, heating and ventilation system. Host was very sweet and came back to supply us with more toilet paper and paper towels in case we needed them.

  : Great facilities although I did not try to cook. Clean, comfortable. Friendly family run. Lovely walk into the lakes in the hills

  : We got to arrive early, and due to weather we got to leave later the next day. We could add a person to our booking and everything was very nice and good. Our favorite to stay in the country and hear nothing but the wind.

  : The cottage itself is simply furbished, not fancy. However you can find there everything you need, all the facilities. It is suitable for families, as there are no separate bedrooms, all beds in one space. The owner was super nice and helpful, although we came quite late in the evening, he quickly prepare the bedding for us.
