  : It was nice having a full kitchen. It was about 15 minute walk to a market. The kitchen was well appointed. There is plenty of room.
  : Not all of the outlets in the kitchen worked and the bed was hard.

  : Smiling friendly host to greet on arrival - she didn't speak any English but we managed to communicate in gestures :) The apartment is a little dated but has all you need for self-catering purposes. We appreciated the handmade lace on the bed linen.
  : There is not much in Atalaia (we were staying during our Camino and were walking, if you had a car this probably would not be a problem) - on the night we stayed there were no restaurants or cafes open, and we had to walk an additional four miles to and from the nearest supermarket!

  : The 2-bedroom apartment was located on the 2nd floor with a lovely garden. The hosts sweet aunt received us. We do not speak Portugus, and she did not speak English nor Spanish; however, we were able to communicate well enough. It was clean and tidy. The beds were more firm than we preferred, but we still slept well. The kitchen had kettle, microwave, toaster, stove and fridge as well as necessary utensil/flatware. The huge unexpected plus was a washing machine! We traveled during a holiday weekend on the shoulder season with limited lodging options. We were grateful for the lodging.
  : Beware of neighborhood dogs barking all night long; ear plugs would solve that issue. The beds were a bit more firm than comfortable but did not hinder a good nights rest. A bit more expensive than was expecting, but it was in the middle of a holiday weekend which might explain the higher price.

  : Its a place to stay about 1/2 mile from the Caminho de Santiago.
  : Host all business. No English. Had to call 30 minutes prior to arrival, but got no answer. Kitchen totally bare. No market nearby. For the price, we expected more, at least something for breakfast; theres nothing nearby.
