  : I loved the property. And Veronica at the front desk was amazing. She helped find us a driver, which was super helpful for our time in Vieques. The bartender made delicious pina coladas, and the room was spacious. Loved it!
  : No one answered the phones! I called 11 times, and no one picked up. We were stranded at the airport with no taxi driver until someone from the information booth was able to find one. It was very frustratiing to not have anyone pick up the phone.

  : Gorgeous grounds, grand ocean view, pool. Restaurant was excellent, and with the huge inflation in Vieques, the pricing was actually on-par with any restaurant in town. Room was huge! The bedroom was perfectly fine and we were able to control the AC to our liking (I know other reviews say otherwise). We also had no problem at all with mosquitos and we went there in the most humid season. We didn't have an ocean view and we still got to see the ocean the second we walked outside. Animals in the grounds were a bonus. We did get a deal on the property (about 200 a night) so to us this was worth the value for the money.... if it would have been 300 or more I would have had much higher expectations. Great for a couple days of relaxation!
  : You absolutely need a car to get anywhere outside of the resort -- which you will need to unless all your needs are covered by the one mini mart right outside the resort. We tried the walk - it's dangerous (walking on the road half of the time along curves and turns and avoiding wild horses) and fairly long (probably some 25 mins to get into town) The mini private beach is really disappointing. We didn't have time to go see if we were able to reach Black Sands beach, but there is a horse back riding company that lets their horses crap on the little sand and rocks that there are to sit in that small beach. Bathrooms could 100000% use updating. Staff was meh - one receptionist would even tell you to wait while she finished texting her friends and barely even looked up at you when you had a request. Bartender meant well but he was borderline rude half of the time unfortunately.
