  : The location is excellent - only a few hundred meters from a grassy beach on Lake Annecy, with two boulangeries nearby for breakfasts and lunches, a pharmacy, and even a restaurant or two. The on-site restaurant is good, although a bit expensive (between 20-40 euros per plate for dinner and almost 4 EUR for a glass of milk in the morning).
  : Toilet was separate from the room. This was in the room description, I just personally do not find this arrangement comfortable, especially at 6 months pregnant (there is also no lift). The man at the check-in desk is a bit unfriendly and tries to push you to book for breakfast and recommends that you don't go anywhere by car so that you eat dinner in the restaurant. The parking area is very sloped, our car was sliding on the hill after a heavy rain.

  : I just booked the cheapest room I could find, after being surprised by a rain-drain , which shortened my motorbike trip. The gentlemen at the desk immediately tried to upsell me a 10 euro more expensive room, which had also bathroom and WC attached to it. I refused. Then he offered it to me for only 3 euro extra. I refused. When entering the room, it had a shower ' planted' against the wall and a sink in the corner. Only the WC was next door, and shared with another room. After drying up, I went down and spend my 'saved' 10 quid on a beer. The lady serving , later in the restaurant as well was nice.
  : The menu is one of those 'scan it yourself', which didn't work on my phone. after trying a couple of times, and later being asked to many private questions- likely by the company who owned the scanning software, she finaly handed me a printed copy of the menu.

  : Reception charged me close to EUR 10.- extra, compared to price originally agreed at the booking, claiming that they had to "give me a different room due to overbooking"

  : Perfect place for an overnight stay. Simple and basic but very clean and has everything you need. Good value for money. Very helpful reception person. Restaurant was also very good with perfect views across lake Annecy.
  : Room a bit hot and fan was noisy.
