: location and cleanliness
: no oven, no air conditioning and despite a 5 day stay we only had one towel each. no instructions on what to do with garbage but a long list of the fines that would be applied if we didnt sort the garbage properly. also, the shutter fell off the window and could have caused serious injury. this also meant we had no window cover so as soon as daylight started around 5am we were awake . no light on the terrace and a broken parasol so we couldnt sit out in the sunshine or the evening

: Marco was like my own concierge. He greeted us when we got off the train, walked us to the property and he was available to answer questions about restaurants, activities, trains, etc during our five day stay. He was so pleasant and helpful. He really made the difference! The property was clean. The upper level has a private rooftop balcony. It was nice to sit and enjoy wine at sunset. It is relatively close to the piazza, and it does have quite a few steps.
: The property is is unique and certainly has it's own charm. The building is narrow and has five levels and the stairs were a bit challenging for us. The bedroom is on the 3rd level and the bathroom is on the first level. The stairwell in circular and I was worried about falling. I think lightning could be improved and I missed having a comfortable couch or chairs to sit.
