  : The location was beautiful, and the cottage was well equipped, immaculately clean and comfortable
  : The garage next door was a bit noisy, but not a huge problem. My visit was in March, and there wasn't quite enough heating for that time of year, but it will be perfect in summer.

  : Great little cottage. Lovely location, very quiet road within easy walking distance of beach and town. Although next door to a car garage, this was discreet and made minimal noise.
  : Shower/hot water run on an immersion hot water tank. Immersion circuit breaker tripped a few times while there

  : Location was good, the place was clean and the linen and bath towels were nice. I found the bed comfy though my wife said she thought it was a bit hard. Parking on arrival on Friday was a bit tight but in the evening, it emptied out and the rest of the weekend we could park almost opposite the cottage.
  : The big things were the state of the kitchen (floor lino was all rucked up and it has been pointed out repeatedly in reviews but they've done nothing about it), and the level and quality of the kitchen equipment - "meagre" you could say, with things like only one chopping board, only one baking sheet (which is far too big to fit in the over), clean but grubby looking tea towels, no washing up liquid etc etc. Just not what I'd expect from supposedly quality self-catering. Secondly, the sofas in the living room are knackered - I'd expect they were cheap and cheerful when new, but now they are missing chunks of padding and there are springs sticking out into the base of the seat. Presumably the owners have not stayed here like a quest would or they would notice obvious deficiencies - there's nowhere to hang a towel, for example, and if you had 4 adults staying for more than a night or two, that would become really annoying. There's nowhere in the bathroom to put anything (like a shelf), the light above the sink is broken, the mirror above the sink is not fixed to the wall and so on. It all looks nice but even a short while and some effort would make a big difference. I pointed all this out to the owners during the stay and in great detail after, but got no acknowledgment. It could be a really nice cottage, but it's only just "OK".

  : Outdoor patio rather neglected. Sofa not very comfortable. More storage in the bedroom and bathroom.

  : Location pretty, and on a quiet road, not too far from a good pub. We found the bedrooms comfortable and it had all we'd have wanted except for a dishwasher. Characterful place & felt homely. Netflix and decent TV.
  : Shower switch is in cupboard of bathroom & hot water switch too- a small sign directing people to this would help.
