  : Even though we had called up in prior and informed about our late arrival due to some issues, they still charged 50e for late check-in. After a lot of requesting they reduced it to 25e, which still is a big amount for a late checkin of 1 hour. The host was rude when we tried negotiating about the extra fee. Also, we had to pay extra for bedsheets which seemed unnecessary. Nowhere else in Italy was I asked to pay extra fee for late login due to genuine reasons. They all were so accomadating.

  : Mosquitos in the room I couldnt sleep all night, and you have to pay 10 dlares extra for your sheets or bed line of the bed.

  : Don't book this place. We got bitten by bed bugs at our stay there, even with closed windows and no flying insects in the room, we kept getting painful bites. During the night, new bites would appear, to the point where we could not sleep properly at all. There was blood on the sheets, clearly indicating signs of bed bugs. When reported to the owner, he was very rude and dismissed our concerns just like any other negative review we've seen on the page, and also saying we don't know what bed bug bites look like. He is just after your money, do not stay at this place. Read any negative reviews here, the owner is not apologetic at all. Photos did not even correspond to the rooms, and they are much smaller in real life. Horrible

  : Location was good, close to walk to all major landmarks and to explore Venice. Other guests staying here were friendly.
  : We booked a triple room however, on arrival they put us in a double room because we were only 2 people. When questioned, we were told that we were in a triple room, but when they saw it was 2 people on the booking they took the extra bed out to give us more room. We took this at face value, but upon leaving I re-checked my booking and we should have had a triple room facing the canal which we absolutely did not have and in hindsight there is no way another bed would have fit into our small room.The bathroom is shared and consists of only a shower and a toilet. On a few occasions, we had to wait 20-25 minutes to use the toilet as someone was using the shower. Overall cleanliness was quite poor. This place is cheap compared to others in Venice and it is reflective in the standard of the hotel. If you have the money I was advise to stay elsewhere.
