  : I want to start by saying that Camilla is an excellent host, very accommodating, friendly and keen on helping guests get the most out of their stay in Venice. She went out of her way to accommodate us when we arrived early on the first day by allowing us to store our luggage in the apartment while the place was being cleaned. In addition, when there was an internet failure due to external circumstances, she came over and set-up her own internet router so that we could have internet. I would give this property 12/10 if it wasn't for one thing: the air conditioning was set at a temperature that was not cold enough to deal with the very hot and humid Venice weather in August (there is no possibility to adjust the a/c). Because it was so hot, we needed to sleep with the windows open. That meant mosquitos got in and made it difficult to sleep at night. In addition, since the windows were not closed and the location is right in a popular spot in Venice (close to Rialto bridge), it was noisy up to about 2am (loud talking, screaming, people playing music, etc...) and then again at 7am when people are active again. Because it faces a square, the noise is amplified and really carries. Despite the apartment being meticulously maintained (it looks brand new), very well decorated and with a very comfortable bed, we barely slept the whole time we were there. If the a/c can be adjusted (or even if a fan was provided as a minimum), I would certainly stay here again as it's a wonderful place in a great location with a fantastic host.
  : Air conditioning needs to be better and/or a fan provided to avoid needing to keep the windows open at night and deal with mosquitos and noise.

  : Location superb, right in the heart of Venice. Very clean and comfortable apartment.
  : Air-conditioning could not be changed according to local regulations apparently. It was fixed at a temperature which was by no means cool enough to cope with the high outside temperatures we experienced. It didn't matter so much by day, as we were always out, but sleeping at night was not easy. The air-conditioning unit was located in the lounge and was not powerful enough or had a temperature low enough to adequately cool our bedroom. I slept on the couch in the lounge as a consequence.

  : Good size apartment, good facilities, good location.
  : The air conditioning is not really an air conditioner instead it is preset to turn on when the room reaches a certain temperature. I believe this was approx 24 degrees. You cannot manually change this or turn on/off leading to hot days/nights.

  : Perfect location close to ferry and all the main attractions within walking distance. Host was super friendly and helpful very bubbly. Apartment was in very good condition and had everything we needed! Perfect

  : Cute little apartment close to the canal and St Marks Square.
  : Checkin was slow and clunky. Had to wait outside for 30 minutes until someone came to let us in and then she couldn't speak any English which made things very difficult.Contact with the English speaker was through WhatsApp which took a while to reply.Aircon had to be turned on by a technician. We had no flexibility to operate this (temperature, turning on or off) by ourselves which made things difficult when it was too cold aftet being too hot.
