  : Perfect place to stay close to the ferry to the airport, relatively good price (for Venice), comfortable sleep, quiet. Host prepared breakfast for my very early departure, much appreciated. A 10-star place, if everything goes according to the usual patterns... (probably applicable to 95% of all bookings).
  : ...but my trip and my booking was a bit unusual and the host did not handle it well in my opinion. I had another 1-night booking a few days before this, but I could not stay. There have been a series of unfortunate events that led me to miss my plane to Venice (my bag was stolen at Zurich airport), and the host was not helpful when I asked for a rebooking out of goodwill and expressed disbelief of my story, because I already cancelled (during free cancellation) and rebooked already once before (due to uncertainty of my schedule). Obviously I understand that this is a small business and she would not have been able to let the room to anyone else in such a short timeframe and of course according to the rules, it is not possible to rebook or cancel with such a short notice, so that's fine. What is not fine though, is that she expressed disbelief of what happened to me and when I explained, she did not answer. When your bag with your papers is stolen and you cannot fly, such disbelief is not professional at all from a business owner. Also the host did not like that for the actual stay (2nd 1-night booking) a few days later I cancelled my free cancellation booking and rebooked it to non-refundable to get a mobile-only discounted price. Why? It is completely legal and available on booking.com. If a host does not like this, then he/she should adjust prices or cancellation policies. For the disbelief of my unlucky situation and criticizing my fully legal booking methods, I deducted 2 stars of my review score (it would have been 10 stars otherwise).

  : Very clean, conveniently located near Ft Nove stop, the rooms were cleaned daily. I really liked the shower, great water pressure! It had the right temperature and didnt take long to heat up,

  : We loved the area that Al Pozzo di Luce is located in (Cannaregio). We did not want to stay in San Marco, but rather experience more local and residential spots in Venice. The B&B is also very close (1 minute walking) to Fondamente Nove, an important water bus stop. Especially handy when you want to explore the northern islands such as Murano and Burano.
  : There was not much we did not like about the property. We could have done with a bigger garbage can as we sometimes consumed snacks in the room. But since the room was cleaned meticulously every day, this was not really a problem.

  : Really clean, contemporary accommodation. Very close to the water bus port/taxis, a lovely little canal and only a short walk to the hustle and bustle of bars/shops and restaurants with all main attractions a short walk away too. Lovely little breakfast room with the most delicious fresh croissants each morning.
  : Only negative I had was breakfast was due to be served 9-10 am which is quite late for us but we knew this on booking. We had 4 mornings at the accommodation and every morning the owner was 10-15mins late to arrive and have the breakfast ready for us. I like to get out early on holiday. The owner however was lovely so its not a deal breaker just something to improve on. Also we couldnt use the air con as it had a pin on it so I got quite hot at night.
