: The apartment for 2, on the first floor was spacious and well furnished. We had a 6 night stay. Anna (the owner )was very pleasent . The kitchen in particular was well stocked, which I have found to be uncommon. There is also a well equipped outdoor kitchen and seating area in the back of the building that looked quite nice.The small bathroom had an enclosed shower, and a small window too. The bed was very comfortable and there were an abundance of sheets ,duvets, and pillows. The AC was extremely efficient. All in all a good value for the price. There was private secured parking. The uphill narrow and twisting street with blind curves was a bit harrowing at times, but the location was away from the bustle,noise and heavy traffic of Highway 9 along the coast.
: On the down side however, was the almost constant barking of large neighborhood dogs at all hours of the day and night. Although this is beyond the control of the owner, it often detracted from the pleasure of using the spacious sunny balcony, without earplugs or headphones . Also the 2-person apartment does not have the sweeping view of the sea as shown on the booking page. You can see the Black Sea, but only a wedge through a maze of electrical wires, and rooftops. If you want the wonderful view seen in the posting, you will need to get the larger apartment on the 3rd floor, which may also help decrease the dog nuisance somewhat. These 2 negatives are the only reason I could not give the Trakata Villa Apartments a much higher rating. Again, these things are not under the control of the owner, who has made every effort to make this property wonderful, but something to keep in mind.
