: The air-conditioning was somehow picking up cigarette smoke from the gambling place (as we discovered) just below the hotel, and was pumping it into our room. Myself and my husband are non-smokers and we suffered a sleepless night after which we asked for another room but each of the rooms which were shown to us by the staff had the same smell of cigarettes imprinted in the furniture of the rooms. When we tried to raise the the awareness of the gravity of the situation the reception personnel met our claims with dismissal. They were rude, dismissive, they would not let us finish our thoughts and would interrupt and talk over. They came with us to the room just to say that there wasn't any trace of smoke. It was of no importance to them that we had to keep the windows of the room open for most of the night because we couldn't breath otherwise. We had to book another hotel for the rest of our stay thus spending twice money. Thankfully the other hotel is great so the experience with Efbet hotel didn't ruin our holidays!
