  : The small room I had was actually quite cozy and relatively clean. The location is very good as everything is in a short walking distance (well, everything is in walking distance in Vard).
  : The common rooms (kitchen, bathroom, toilet) are very run down and dirty. Only one toilet and one shower for the whole house. Barely any plates etc. in the kitchen. In the kitchen there was trash piling up from a couple of days. Make sure youre not opening doors you are not supposed to open youll see even more disgusting trash. The bathroom was dirty and I was very happy I brought slippers. The internet is very spotty. The walls are so thin you hear every single word and you hear people using the bathroom in the morning very clearly (when youre staying in a room downstairs). I noticed also that when the surrounding is dirty and not well taken care of, people/guest are less likely to also bother about taking care of things. If youre looking for a cheap place to stay in Vard, its the place to go. But dont expect cleanliness and well-cared attitude for things. Norway is not a cheap destination to travel to, but this place was not even worth the low price.

  : Toilet and shower were very basic, but seemed to be clean.
  : The window in my room was extremely dirty. The room itself seemed clean. But I mistrusted the bed sheets and preferred to sleep in my sleeping bag. And the system with the key boxes was irritating. There was one and the same code for every box. And the numbers of the boxes didn't relate with the room numbers. So one had to look, which box had a key in it, and then go and try, if it was the right one or not. I was happy that an old couple, living at the same place, helped me.
