Disappointing

  : gardens were nice and in decent location in svoronata George at bar was a lovely man !
  : we arrived as notified via booking.com at 10am for two studios for 6 of us as we booked two for our last day before late flight home. on arrival no one greeted us, they just seemed confused as to why we were there and told to put our cases in bar area. I just went and lay on a sun bed to try and relax. we got the keys a short time later and my studio had t been cleaned. dirty bed linen and towels and full bin in toilet!! when I asked about cleaning they said they were working through but i pointed out Id just checked in and should be given a clean room when doing so!! it was like the Greek version of fawlty towers!!

  : Location, garden perfectly maintained, swiming pool area, all was like oasis in the desert, lot of space into the apartmant..
  : We had second flor studio with beautiful spacefull terace facing the garden and the sea wiew, unfortunatly it was usefull during the day, becouse it has no tenda or any kind of shade...

  : The owners were friendly and welcoming we checked in just for a day to avoide the heat. All bed wers made up extra towels and nothing was to much trouble

  : without a car, its kind of remote and you have to relay on the local bus for transportation.

  : We only stayed for a single night, as I was travelling alone with my 5yo daughter and didn't fancy an hour's drive across the island after a midnight arrival (which turned out to be a good choice after our flight was delayed and Ryanair lost our baggage!). Helena Inn is an easy six minute drive from the airport, so very convenient. There was no one to meet us at 1am, but a phone call solved that - our keys had been left in the door for us. We got the one room that was left when I booked (and didn't use the cooking facilities), but it was a good size, even after my wife found she was able to join us and was added to the booking with zero fuss. We had a view across the olive trees to the sea, and didn't find the planes annoying for the one night we were there. The generous 11am checkout meant that I got to have a leisurely morning swim with my daughter. The pool is beautiful, with a variety of depths, and I know my daughter would have been very happy to have stayed longer.
  : Breakfast took over an hour, because our order had been forgotten, but that's life. Also not overly keen on the massive Union Jack in the restaurant/bar area, but I guess I'm not the target audience!
