  : Was everything perfect and is there no room for improvement? Off course not, but we choose to look at the positive side of things, which are plentiful:- Fantastic location on a hill surrounded by nature, close to the city of Spartia. - Family owned business; the owner Lefteris (83 years old) and his wife made our stay memorable. They prepared fantastic small meals for small prices, gave us fresh fruit from the garden almost everyday, helped us to prepare a BBQ and even gave us self-prepared BBQ meat on our last night. We also were allowed to use the caravan on the last day after check out before taking our evening flight. - complete apartment with fantastic view- lovely pool with great and sufficient sunbeads- There is a small play garden for the kids
  : Nothing really. Although it is important to note that the location is quite remote, so a rental car is highly recommended

  : Nice village a few minutes away. Silent place in a beautiful garden with view of a green valley and the sea. Big and clean pool. Very hospitable hosts: thank you everything Vivi and Lefteris!
  : A microwave oven would help the families with children.

  : the surroundings of the apartment were lovely.
  : The apartment was tiny and it was only set up for 4 people. The owner rectified this by putting an extra put-u-up bed in the twin room which made a very tiny bedroom even more cramped. The crockery and cutlery was not sufficient. There were no wine glasses. There was no coffee machine. The pool was filthy. The glass in the bathroom was filthy - full of other peoples toothpaste/water spills. The access to the apartment is dreadful down a very windy very narrow road.

  : I attended the beautiful island of Kefalonia for a wedding and vacation. I did not know much when booking in certain areas.Where do I begin with the nightmare this hotel and its owners caused myself and the group I traveled with. I began by booking this hotel for 2 weeks and unfortunately had to shorten my stay due to a change of plans.I was informed that I would not be refunded the $700 if I changed my booking dates. To cancel your booking was $72 which was reasonable. If I would have known the headache that was going to come along with changing my booking dates, I would have cancelled and rebooked my stay at Amazona.I made Booking.com aware of this and they had informed me that the hotel would accommodate my date change and settle a refund process with me upon arriving (Since I was charged prior to arrival which was fine)Before even getting my luggage out of the car, I was abruptly approached by the hotel owner, a man, who checked us in. I was traveling with my significant other who is of greek descent and can speak greek fluently. The man questioned us and asked him are you even greek? Why does it matter if you are a paying guest at their facility?We checked into a family suite which states and shows that it can sleep 4 guests. When I booked, it only let me put up to two guests. There was three of us total and the room provided 2 bunk beds and a queen size bed. I thought that this would not be a problem as it is labeled as a **family** suite.We went out one night, locked up and came back to notice that our Air conditioning was off and the room smelled terribly of toilet waste due to a window open in the bathroom along with no air flow. We brushed it off and went to bed thinking we may have turned it off by accident when leaving.The next day we were approached by the owner who said that we cannot leave the air conditioning running. This was not known by any guest in our party nor was it made known upon arrival.

  : Lovely owners, friendly and generous - only too happy to help. Beautiful gardens and pool area. The local village is not far away and neither is the beach. We would definitely stay again in future.
  : Nothing really. We stayed in the small house away from the main accommodation block. Everything was pleasant and functional. The bunk bed ladder did not safely hook over the top of the bed, so minor fixes and attention needed in places.
