  : The room was ok and the bed was relatively comfortable. The ladies serving breakfast were very kind and friendly.
  : Theres no respect for the clients property. I left the room early in the morning. I had my iPad charging on the bed. When I got back in the evening I found the iPad lying on the humid floor!! When I informed the reception about this incident they really seemed to not care at all! The bathroom was too small and really uncomfortable. The breakfast was mediocre, the food was exposed to various insects. Not good value for money, I wouldnt recommend it!

  : The fact that there is no staff on duty from 16:00 until 08:00 (I know it is stated in the booking, but it is not acceptable for a 4 star hotel. The terrible bathrooms with a shower that is more like a garden hose

  : Bathroom was falling apart. The ceiling was actually falling on the floor. The room had no isolation. We could not only hear the upstairs guests at 3am but the light from their room was coming to ours since there is a real gap in the ceiling.

  : The position with a good bar serving food nearby.
  : I arrived late evening so self entered. The room was incredibly small and the bathroom tiny with a shower that had the floor only to drain the water. No cold water on a hot day, merely a bottle of warm water. No fridge. At midnight I was disturbed by people coming and making a noise and again a 4 am. The next day I was moved to a larger room on first floor, which whilst lovely in appearance was totally inpractical, no desk or chair to work as required (as the first room) I could not turn on the tap in the ornate bathroom and the mirror was too high for a small woman to see to do make up and hair (no mirror in firat bathroom). Noisy in the morning so impossible to sleep after 7 am as rooms were adjacent to a couryard where breakfast was served. When I asked to order a taxi I was shocked to hear the taxi firm being told I was a white woman travelling to the destination, such racism I have not encountered anywhere. When I stated that the taxi was too expensive, the receptionist passed me over to another employee to find one at a more reasonable price. I was already aware of taxi preices in Valletta but was told Valetta was expensive by the receptionist, as if I should have just accepted. I would never stay here again, it is completely overrated, beautiful to look at with some nice features in the rooms but more like a show piece than a room intended for travellers who must carry out normal tasks such as make up and keeping up with work issues.

  : Excellent selection for breakfast. Chilled drinking water available on request for your room. Located on quiet street but not too far from cafes, restaurants and bars. Kettle provided with coffee, tea bags and sugar. Staff very polite and welcoming.
  : A fridge would have been great in the room. No milk provided for hot drinks in the room.
