  : Beautiful 17th century building. Quirky attractive pool complex. Excellent if surprising Spanish omelette at breakfast. Attractive gardens and plants. Desire of most staff to respond positively to requests sound of cowbells and the local church tower clock . Breakfast was fresh and good.
  : We booked because the hotel had a restaurant for dinner on the first night with friends. We booked it immediately. As we arrived at 5pm, we were told there was no dinner service that night (their whatsap to tell us this did not reach us as we were travelling without wifi). We had to make other arrangements. When we tried to have dinner on another night they told us we had to have booked before 5pm! There was no gluten free bread/crackers/cake option despite forewarning. The bartender was only able to provide a fresh lemon spritzer on the 3rd attempt. Overall the staff competence level (admin, Google, communication in English) fell short of their desire to serve and so diminished our experience significantly below the rate charged for the hotel.

  : Lovely grounds and main building, friendly staff, nice restaurant.
  : Room described as "deluxe suite" was cramped, charmless and tucked away by the pool equipment, but quite expensive. Given the amazing value for money you can get for charming stays all over Spain, this place is totally not worth it. Also told me they charged extra for a baby crib!

  : Nice gardens. interesting building. pleasant dining room. Breakfast was good and the person supplying it was very helpful.
  : The initial welcome was poor. Also, there was no easy parking outside the premises but they charged to park inside. They also put a service charge ON TOP of the cost of the accommodation and the internal parking.

  : The environment was amazing and the staff very attentive. The hotel itself had a lot of charm
  : Please USE the good expresso machine you have instead of the smaller crappier one. You cannot understate how important a good cup of coffee can be to start the morning (or afternoon!) properly. The good was great, so was the breakfast, but what the smaller weird machine made couldn't be called coffee. It's a pricy place to, on top of everything, require you go find another coffee place to have a proper one.

  : The place was beautiful with lovely gardens and architecture. Set among the mountains, it gave a very nice view during breakfast and dinner.The room was decorated very nicely and had comfortable beds.The swimming pool with a separate warmer side with spa was very nice, the kids loved it even when the weather was a bit rainy.
  : We had a problem with the shower on the second day, it would only give very hot or very cold water. Terrible experience for the children for 3 days. The staff were nice trying to solve it but unfortunately didn't succeed. We had to bargain to have a small reduction of the price for the inconvenience, I would not have expected it for a hotel of this category. Really a pity since the place is so beautiful.
