  : The actual hotel is amazing. However, cold food, lack of attention to detail, and surly staff means we wont stay at this hotel again
  : Having stayed at the Hotel previously on the 18th of April 2024, and having had a comfortable stay for the one night. We booked for one night on our return trip back to England.Reception on both occasions was very welcoming and friendly. However, there was only one person on the front desk at check in even though there was a queue of people waiting to check in. This is supposed to be a five star hotel.We were shown to our room by front desk. The room had only been given a cursory clean. We noticed food crumbs at the foot of the bed. The carpet looked tired. We found a safety pin on the carpet. Despite paying 30 for our dog, there was no dog bed or dog bowls as per our previous stay.A five star hotel should have large white fluffy towels. Instead, the towels looked tired and worn as was the room.We decided to go to the bar for a pre dinner drink. We sat at the table closest to the bar which was dirty. We were ignored for 8 minutes despite there being two bartenders and two waiters. In the end l asked for a menu and ordered a vodka and tonic and a shandy and a club sandwich. Rather than wipe the table, the waiter flicked the crumbs off the table with his fingers and proceeded to put the place mat over the remaining food crumbs. My wife and l were absolutely astounded by the lack of hygiene. Tbis was not five star service. We felt we were treated as an inconvenience rather than paying guess of the hotel. One night was 500.Our drinks arrived. The vodka had one lump of ice, no lemon. The shady had fifty percent foam, and was a beer and not what l had asked for. My wife had to go up to the bar to ask for more ice and some lemon in her drink. The bar staff were disinterested in customer service and did the bare minimum.Later that evening we ordered room service. The chips were cold and the burger wasnt well done as l had requested. Despite my wife and l both having short hair , we found a long hair in the ravioli.
