  : I feel so sorry for this establishment. I believe they have been going for 20 years. And 2 years ago, a nightclub opened at the Marina Beach Club. Despite negotiations with the municipality they have not succeeded so it means that if, like me you envisage sleeping with the window open to the sound of the sea think again. This is no ordinary pub/nightclub this is an outdoor venue with festival speakers. Its not just the music thats the problem its the vibrations. The terrible thing was that they are allowed to go on until 3am. By the time I fell asleep it was with a shut window (double glazing doesnt work), aircon on, a fan that I requested, earplugs and my noise cancelling headphones. They offered at 2am in the morning a room transfer, but I was not going to traipse around the halls at that time of the morning and it defeats the point of having a sea facing room. I understand that the situation is out of their hands but I think it is the establishments moral obligation to make this known to people, a banner on their website and explicitly on Booking. If need be possible revenue loss needs to be negotiated and covered by the nightclub. I would definitely not have stayed if I had have known I would not get sleep. Maybe if I was in a different mindset I would have gone out to join them but this trip specifically needed rest. As I said I feel sorry for this establishment. The actual hotel, room and staff were lovely, but if you value your sleep, Id look somewhere else.

  : Close to beach, good breakfast, friendly staff.
  : We stayed 2 nites, one nite in a fancy suite facing the ocean, the second nite in a small room facing away from the beach. The smaller room was much better because we couldn't hear the Disco music that was playing on the beach til 4 AM.
