: Very comfortable little house in Aldeia do Trebilhadouro. The place was impeccably clean and had everything we needed. We were welcomed by the host who even left a few goodies for us! the place is close to beautiful nature and good hikes. we will come back!

: If you're looking for rural tourism, this place is highly recommended! Trebilhadouro's village was an incredibly charming surprise. It faithfully replicates the essence of an ancient traditional Portuguese mountain settlement, while still being easily accessible by car and providing modern amenities inside the houses. We had a fully equipped kitchen (fridge, stove, oven, microwave, water kettle and all sorts of cutlery, cookware and tableware), where we cooked everyday. The living room had a traditional vibe, with its wood couches and a wood stove to provide a cosy fire when the nights felt colder. The bedrooms were quite comfortable, having firm mattresses which were good for our tired backs. The bathroom was completely modern, and it even included a heated-up towel rack. The shower had a pleasantly strong water pressure and very hot water if needed. We were stunned by the silence at night, only broken by owls and crickets, so unusual for us city people. The night sky was full of visible stars, so much it seemed like a painting. In the morning, daylight was announced by cheerful birds. The staff managing the village was composed of locals, some of which are descendants of the people who once lived there. Very friendly and polite, they made everything to let us feel welcome and comfortable - we are very thankful for their hospitality. A special thanks to madam urea for baking us a delicious orange cake with her homegrown ingredients!
