  : We love how the Inn creatively provides individual coffee for single-serve French press pots. The staff are amazing. We had to check-out and leave early. Rita got up before the set breakfast time and packed delicious “to go” breakfast burritos with eggs, cheese and fresh veggies.Bathrooms are fantastic. And, wow! The showers are amazing! The rooms are clean and wonderful. Beds are very comfortable.
  : As the Inn continues its capital improvements, this place will only get better and better.

  : Breakfast was nice in a beautiful room. The home’s architecture has charming features. The gentleman on staff brushed off our cars the morning after a major snowstorm- which was very generous and appreciated. The location to the Ice arena was perfect. The home is set back on the property with little street noise.
  : The home and location have the perfect setting and layout for a wonderful experience. Unfortunately, a few things(that can easily be corrected) missed the mark for us. Upon entering, the woman (owner) behind the desk checked us in without a smile or any sense of warmth. I don’t know if she was ill or just wasn’t aware that she’s in the hospitality business. We only had a few exchanges with her during our 2 night stay- and she remained uninterested. Never smiled and only said good morning after we initiated the greeting. Strange to us.The side porch (main entrance ) had rickety stairs, patio furniture stacked up- making first impression depressing. Even in winter, it could have had some potted evergreens to create a welcoming mood and block the unused patio furniture.The home smelled like there was a gas leak.The coffee station upstairs had old coffee in petite jars for French pressed coffee had a stale taste. Our room was on the 1st floor behind the reception desk- each morning, the owner walked back and forth to the kitchen to prepare breakfast- understandable, but with wooden floors, tall ceilings and swinging doors, it was loud enough to annoy any rest we were trying to achieve. The room itself was dated with a hodgepodge of 70’s,80’s decor and didn’t feel clean even though it was. Little lamps - dark room overall. The bed was ok, but needed a mattress topper or new mattress. The bathroom was lovely but, upon arrival- half a roll of toilet paper (no extra), 1 robe vs 2, the only natural light for using the mirror to get ready was from the huge window next to the sink- but it was covered with a black curtain and if opened, anyone using the parking lot or neighboring house would have a clear view into the bathroom. Odd.The reviews and location we needed is why we booked this B&B- but having over 30 years of working in hospitality all over the world, this was disappointing especially when smiling is free and goes a long way to make up for shortcomings.

  : The old victorian house
  : We booked a room with a bathtub, but didn’t either. The price booking.com told us was 105$, the price the host charged was 159$. The room was small, the furniture very worn and the noise from the street was annoying. Breakfast was also not worth the money, personal inattentive. Don‘t get tricked by the the nice pics, the place is sleazy.

  : Great location and beautifully restored inn. Friendly, helpful staff. Delicious full breakfast. Our host, Rita, happily accommodated my husband's dietary restrictions with an alternate breakfast selection.
  : In window A/C was hard to moderate, so room temperature was variable through the night. Heavy comforter was too warm, and no light option was available in the room. Just a small inconvenience.
