  : I booked a last minute diving trip on Ustica and only got around to booking accommodation whilst on the ferry to Ustica. By coincidence, the owner Gigi was also on the ferry and noticed me making the booking. He was incredibly helpful and arranged for his father to pick us up from the port and drive me to the apartment (its actually only a 5-10 min walk, but the car trip was appreciated with luggage). He also asked who I was diving with and phoned up the diving school for them to come and meet me (everyone knows everyone on Ustica). Despite hastily organizing this trip at the last minute, it played out as if it were a packaged tour. Everyone on Ustica is really friendly and helpful. The apartment was right next to the dive centre - Ustica Diving centre (run by Jonathan). It's also in the main square where there are several restaurants and bars, plus a load of other diving centres. All very convenient. Facilities in the apartment were great, comfy bed, kitchen with fridge, clean bathroom and a terrace area to hang out wet kit. The apartment was free the next day, so Gigi let me keep the keys during the day whilst I was diving so I could store my luggage and come back for a shower after.
  : The only negative was linen was an extra 10 euro on top. But then this was more than offset by how helpful Gigi was. And the apartment was really good value for money to begin with

  : - The hosts were lovely, and really friendly - they picked us up from the boat and also helped us organise a last-minute boat tour. - The apartment was in the perfect location, right in the centre with easy access to the port, cafs and bus. - The apartment was large and spacious. - The shower was good and the bed was comfy.
  : - The Wifi didn't work at all, even for a simple Google on our phones. We asked about this and the hosts kindly put a router in the apartment for us, but that didn't work either. I wonder if this is to do with the island though. - It said there were toiletries but there wasn't any soap or shower gel, so we had to wash with the hand soap. We also had to ask for toilet roll as there wasn't any when we arrived.

  : The staff was super friendly and helpful. They volunteered to pick me up at the port and responded to my problems immediately and effectively. Was a great room with a great view at a great location!
  : There really wasn't much to complain. Do be aware that the doors and windows weren't so sound-proof, but I'll also expect any other local accommodations to have the same type of doors and windows.

  : It is a quite spacious flat that has two separate rooms. One with a small bed and one with a double bed. The kitchen is nice, there is an old school coffee maker which we really liked. Also there is a small terasse that is awesome and comes with a strip for your towels to dry. The owner was very nice, they got us from the port with a free shuttle and also back on the day we left ustica. Usually you have to pay an extra fee for linen and towels but he offered us for free which was really nice. Also he helped us to book a boat snorkeling tour. The location of the flat is really great as well. Directly in the centre and close to the bus stop. We would totally stay here again!
  : The water pressure in the shower was super low.

  : The apartments location is very strategic, central and close to the harbour, restaurants, bars, shops, but at the same time very quiet at night time. The managers are super professional and helpful and even if check-out is at 10am, they will store your luggage and provide facilities to take a shower before you leave the island - this was very handy for us as our boat was in the afternoon. Highly recommend.

  : I booked a studio and was upgraded to a one bedroom flat which was in the very town centre and just above our dive center, so it was great! We were also allowed late check out and had pick up on arrival and drop off to the port on departure, all included in the price of the appartement. Air conditioning was a useful plus in the strong heat. Ustica is great:well be back!
