  : The bed was large and comfortable. The chickens woke me up too early. I like chickens and raised them myself as a teen. The conecpt of staying on a farm might appeal to some.
  : Write up for the property led me astray. I thought there would be a washer and dryer to use, but there was no sign of either. Also expected more of a working kitchen ---this was what you'd find in any hotel room consisting of a small fridge, a microwave and a toaster. No sink in the kitchen, only a big laundry sink in the bathroom for washing dishes, etc. The step to the entry of the room was treacherous-- a big stone which was too high and unstable for an older person. I had a terrible time finding this place which likely put me in a foul mood when I arrived. The directions from the owner were late arriving to my email so I never saw them until I got to the room late that night. I don't like to write a negative review, especially for a private accomodation. I felt like I had made a poor decision to stay at this place, however.

  : We liked the idea of staying on a farm and were happy to receive the eggs. Also, the apartment was spacious with a kitchen that was adequately outfitted.
  : There are several things that contributed to the negative feelings we have about this place. Our reception by the hostess was the briefest we've ever encountered...couldn't have been more than 2 minutes to open the door, hand us the keys and run. Also, the rooster outside our bedroom window began crowing at 3:30 am and repeated about every half hour, followed by the loud clucking of hens at daybreak. However, the biggest problem was the washtub sink in the bathroom in lieu of a standard sink. Dishes had to be carried to the bathroom to wash. Finally, my wife feel and banged her knee trying to navigate up a large rock (high step) accessing the front door. We will not stay here again.

  : The apartment was very clean and everything we needed was there. Also the location was very convenient for exploring the Camden and Rockport area. We enjoyed reading in the beautiful garden.
  : If you like sleeping in it is good to know that theres a rooster in the chicken run next to the apartment that might wake you very early.
