  : An old castle, nicely renovated and decorated with charme. Very friendly and helpful staff. When the weather allows it, sitting outside in the beergarden with a local brew is making any evening enjoyable.
  : If there is anything to critizise, then it is that (most) rooms do not have a TV. However, we did not really miss it.

  : The Hotel is very attractive and has a great beer garden. I came across this offer by chance in connection with a trip I had already booked and could not resist an additional night at an extremely attractive price. I did not expect much and was very impressed with the room in a building adjoining the main castle. I had an evening meal there and breakfast the next morning. Breakfast was excellent and plenty of choice. I hope to come again.

  : This was a lovely one night stop for us although we wished we were staying longer. Quiet location set in beautiful countryside. The bar and restaurant reasonably priced. Staff all very pleasant and helpful.

  : Absolutely unbeatable, incredible views, from room and around property.
  : Zero professionalism. When we arrived, there was just a small boy at reception playing a game on his phone. He said we didn't need to wear a corona mask. Another staff member walked past, telling us we didn't need to wear a mask, but offering no further assistance. A teenage staff member came by, told us we didn't need to wear a mask, then got the hotel owner. She said hello, answered the phone, then booked us in. My wife asked about the masks - everywhere else in Germany had required them, even demanding negative tests no more than 24 hours old - and was told that as it was the hotel owner's property, her rules applied. She had a brain and had decided against masks ... Paper-thin walls in bedroom; we were woken up a number of times each night by someone in the next room coughing. Of the three windows in the room, one had blinds, but two, including one over the bed, didn't have anything to block the rising sun out. No internet in room. (I'm writing this in 2021.) We ate in the restaurant one evening; it took two hours to get our order, but the food was excellent.

  : Guests are welcome like family, very cordially and uncomplicated. Excellent hints for excursions nearby, including doing phonecalls for arranging boats to let, timetables,...
