  : Location was lovely. Pretty little cottage surrounded by trees, with a pond.
  : Flooring was bare bricks with grubby rugs. We couldn't clean the floor as there was no vacuum cleaner/dustpan & brush. There were small bins in the bathroom & kitchen but no outside dustbin to put our rubbish in. The tea towels supplied were grubby but I used my own. There were no coaster/place mats, so we used our own paper kitchen towel. There was mould on the window frames. The bed was very comfortable but there was a large stain on the base, like a brown footmark or something. The chairs were good quality but needed fresh cushions as they were very dented & well worn with dirty marks on. There were no instructions on how to use the TV or the cooker & no microwave. The bathroom door had a very sharp lock & protruding catch on the opposite side, which caused an abrasion to my husband's arm. No facility for hanging clothes in the bathroom. Not having seen the owner all the time we were there, someone appeared on the last morning of our stay at 6.40 am to mow the lawn on his part of the land but not around the cottage. The property is also susceptible to ants. I should also add that there is no path to the cottage, only grass, which is constantly being walked in to the cottage.

  : Nice and cosy, had everything you needed for the stay.
  : The cottage is an outhouse in the back of a garden. The owner was doing gardening and cleaning on our side of the garden which made it quite uncomfortable during our stay and couldnt enjoy being outside by the pond. Cleanliness, we tried to open one of the velux windows when we was cooking to be showered in dead flys.

  : Location was lovely, property was well designed for studio type accommodation, loads of space, comfy bed. Nice helpful owner.
  : A dust pan and brush, broom or hoover would have been useful, as unfortunately when you open velux windows, you do get a lot of dead flies drop to the floor, obviously to be expected as you are in countryside. We would have a vacuum cleaner with an add on tool to reach velux windows so you could hoover that area regularly.

  : Property let down by lack of attention to detail. Dining table way to big for such a small property. Seriously lacking in terms of kitchen utensils, no baking trays, storage boxes, etc. Property desperately needs blackout curtain liners. Would have been nice to have had an outside table and chairs.

  : The location was beautifully quiet and in a lovely spot. Just what we wanted.
  : There were some niggles. 1) the seats of the armchairs sink when you sit on them; we had to put pillows on them to bolster the seat 2) the water in the kitchen was scalding hot 3) we could have done with a washing up brush and a brush and pan 4) the rugs were a bit grubby 5) there were a lot of cobwebs on the ceiling 6) when to trying to find a brush and pan, we opened the door under the television, and it fell off because it was not a proper door but was fixed in place with screws. We think perhaps the door should have a label on it warning guests not to open it (inside is a fuse box with electrical cables etc.).

  : This was a lovely, self-catering Cottage which suited us perfectly for a short getaway.
  : A couple of small things. Providing a second wine glass, better info about the local area (nearby walks, etc.) would have been helpful.
