  : I liked the magnificent view on a lake, the historic building with its exquisite furniture and decoration that gives you the impression that you stepped back in time .
  : I did not like the very small room and the fact that the hotel is extremely overpriced for what it offers

  : The hotel is stunning, with beautiful rooms filled with eclectic objects collected over a long period of time. It feels like staying in a very special private house. We had dinner with the wine package, which was exceptional - the wine was beautifully matched to each dish, and the food was delicious. Although this was quite pricey compared to eating out in the UK, it was a real treat and well worth the cost - the food was locally sourced and very high quality and the service was excellent. Children can opt for smaller portions at a very reasonable cost. The breakfast was fantastic and beautifully presented, all homemade with local produce. We all slept really well - we had the family room with individual bunks built in.
  : The door on the shower in our bathroom was broken - the shower was not up to the standard of the rest of the hotel.
