Cretan Family Villa Heated Pool

  : The house, the pool and the view is exceptional. It is all brand new. There is plenty of space. The staff is very nice and responsive.
  : The drive from main road to the house is about 1.5 km long and on a very demanding path - almost requiring a 4 wheel drive car - we had fortunately rented a Jeep. Due to the fact that the house was new some standard things were missing - but was delivered on request. The internet was slow in the beginning and did not work at all at the end. Our own mobiles did better but we used a lot of our own data.

  : The villa was modern, had loads of space and was very comfortable. All the rooms had A/C and beautiful views. The pool was excellent, and the views are stunning.

  : the villa is beautiful, clean and big. 3 separated floors. each floor has a kitchen and a living room + balcony. the pool area was enough for 14 people. the area around is very green with beautiful view. Maria was very kind, welcoming and had great recommendations for various activities. the village is not far, 10 min drive. nice restaurants and beach. we were 3 families, 5 adults and 9 children (16-8).
  : the access road to the villa is a bit challenging but if you come from the right direction its not so bad.

  : Location was stunning, up high on a hill looking out to Almirida which was 5 mins drive away, its a bit of a dust track up to the villa but totally worth it. Surrounded by olive trees, grapevines, lime trees, pomegranate and tomatoes!!! Very peaceful. A lovely shower outside by the pool too. with a view which was absolutely amazing. The house is new and the pool area lights up at night. Lots of space and aircon good. Rural location which allowed us to feel completely relaxed. You can easily get a can home too if one of you doesnt want to drive back from town. The pool is great as wasnt too deep but absolutely perfect, just be aware that diving could be risky. Owners Kosta and Kostas Dad were very responsive and helpful and even gave us some of their wine which wasnt for the faint hearted Would totally go back.
  : Its not really a not like, just an important note. The villa is in fact made up of 3 apartments, its all part of the same house but all with separate Entrance doors. If youve a family a lot of kids I would double check numbers on each floor, Id say youd have to be careful on the balcony as they could be easily climbed. The rooms were all lovely But the top floor needs a better shower facility as currently is has a bath with a shower hose on the tap though there are loads you can use downstairs. Each floor has a separate kitchen area.
