: The extras in the room were great - like fresh milk for tea/coffee in a mini fridge (along with cold water), the Nespresso machine and the USB plugs. The bed was really comfy and the decor was unfussy (not old school B&B style). Access for after hours was really easy and the owners were really friendly and accommodating with my awkward timings. Good communication beforehand too. Parking a bonus as well, as the road is fairly busy with cars (but I did find a space outside to start with anyway). I wasn't sure about just a continental breakfast to start with but the coffee machine was good (tea on request - and you are asked straight away, so no delay) and plenty of choice with cereals, a bowl of fresh strawberries and blueberries, yoghurts, croissants, waffles, boiled eggs, bacon pastries, toast, crumpets, ham and cheese - definitely didn't need cooked breakfast alongside all of that!
: The only thing that I was even slightly aware of as a downside was the size of the room - it was cosy, but I didn't need anything else and it was fine for one person. The bed is really big so that's the compromise and the price reflected that too. I didn't see any other rooms so couldn't comment on those but mine had a high ceiling so it didn't feel small, it's just a fact to note if you need more room for limited mobility (I was in room 2).

: Nice B&B near to Harbour area. It's up a fairly steep hill which offers a good view of town and has guest parking at the rear. Personally I wasn't so keen on Paignton itself but it was a good base to explore the area (Torquay, Brixham, Totnes etc) I thought it was very good value for money. Public transport in the area is excellent.
