  : Breakfast: It had tomatoes, cheese, sausages, juice and coffee. They also provided fresh fruit.Room: It was quite big. The beds were good and it was clean.Bathroom: It was very big and clean. The shower cabin closed properly, there was always hot water available and the toilet flushed properly.Staff: This is the great thing about this stay. If you catch Tani, he will give you very good advice about what to visit within all of the country depending on the number of days you have available. He is one of the nicest people I have ever met.
  : Room: It was a bit noisier than I expected.

  : My family of five stayed at The Marion Hotel on three separate nights in early October (we had a double and a triple on each night). For us, what made our stay at the Marion memorable were the interactions with the fantastic, kind staff. We got to know Tani, Aleksander and the lovely, smiley lady who helped with breakfast really well - they are what make this hotel worth considering for your stay in Tirana. They treated us wonderfully well and we had some brilliant conversations and interactions with all three - they're a great team. Importantly for us, Tani made sure that the three members of our family who are coeliac, had brilliant, gluten-free breakfasts. He also helped us greatly with the transport to and from the airport and to the North/South bus station at the other side of the city (driving us to and from the airport himself). Through his great sense of humour, he had lots of ideas on places we should go and see and through our conversations with him, we were able to get a very good insight into Albania itself as a country. Aleksander was also very kind, with a great sense of humour, and on our last morning in Tirana, he even insisted on taking us to meet his lovely, smiley mother who has a byrek shop just round the corner - definitely recommended to try the delicious byrek from here (which the non-coeliacs ate on our walk through the Grand Park, which is a short stroll from the hotel). For us, the location of the hotel was perfect, as we travelled to Korce (and Elbasan) via the other bus station, which is a very short walk from the Marion. We also ate a very good meal in one of the restaurants in the park on our first evening in Tirana, again just a short stroll from the hotel through an underpass. It must be mentioned that, as a family, we do a lot of walking and really enjoyed venturing into Tirana, exploring other sections of the city, so the distance of the hotel from the centre was not a problem for us.
  : For us, we felt the hotel itself would probably benefit from a little bit of time and money spent on the maintenance of the building/rooms themselves.

  : Awesome host, really cares about wellbeing of guests and ensuring that guests appreciate Albania. Central location. Great view from the balcony. Nice breakfast with vegetables and eggs from own farm.
  : Not the most modern facilities, with some of the equipment in the bathroom broken, but functioning. Cleaning is done with an eye half closed.
