: Nice apartment in the centre of Tirana. Fresh food market just down the building in the morning. A little difficult to reach by car through the market but once parked great location by foot to many central locations.Spacious rooms, well equipped. 2 bathrooms. House was cold at the arrival but heated fast after switching all the heating system.We enjoyed our stay here and the landlady was very nice and always checked up on us.

: The location was excellent - in an interesting neighbourhood between 2 main streets and not far from Skanderberg Square, with vegetable and fruit sellers there daily and lots of other goods like olives, nuts, bread etc. near the flat, and lots of coffee shops a few minutes walk away. We liked that there was a lift to the 7th floor apartment (but see below) and the views of the mountains and city from the balconies were very nice The kitchen was well-equipped with kettle, microwave and oven and we were able to prepare simple meals during our 8-night stay. We did not meet our host but she was in touch via whatsapp and was very responsive. Her relatives organised arrival/departure and it was all very smoothly done. The wifi was good.
: Booking.com had informed us we could pay be mastercard but the owner wanted euros in cash - this was probably Booking.com's fault as everyone else in Albania wanted cash Euros as well. We had brought the amount of cash we needed and spent over 400 euros of it on accommodation unexpectedly. The lift was very noisy - going on until after midnight and starting again at 0530. I was wearing earplugs and still it kept me awake - perhaps it needs maintenance. Thicker curtains would be nice as the sun rises on the side of the bedrooms.
